Role- Business Development Manager- Insurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development with a strong background in corporate insurance sales. The ideal candidate will focus on acquiring and managing B2B clients while driving business growth in the local market. Experience in marine insurance is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: o Identify and target potential corporate clients for insurance products. o Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of B2B prospects.
Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Market Development:
o Leverage knowledge of the local market to identify emerging opportunities.
o Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
o Conduct presentations, negotiations, and closures for insurance products.
- Product Knowledge and Expertise:
o Gain an in-depth understanding of various insurance offerings, with a focus on commercial lines (e.g., property, liability, marine).
o Provide tailored solutions to meet client-specific needs.
- Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, client records, and performance data.
o Analyze sales performance and suggest improvement strategies.
- Collaboration:
o Work closely with the underwriting, claims, and operations teams to ensure seamless client service.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
3 years of experience in B2B corporate sales within the insurance sector.
Marine insurance experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of the local market and client dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
