Business Development Manager – B2B (Cocoa / Food Ingredients)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the domestic B2B enterprise segment with a focus on Core Cocoa and Food Ingredients. This role is critical to our expansion strategy and offers the opportunity to build strong partnerships with leading manufacturers and distributors across India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the domestic B2B enterprise segment.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Execute strategic sales plans and confidently close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Manage export documentation and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

Industry Focus: You will engage with clients across:

  • Cocoa & Chocolate Manufacturing Units
  • Food Ingredients & Confectionery Manufacturing
  • Biscuits, Bakery & Ice Cream Producers
  • Large Bakery & Café Chains
  • Cocoa Distributors & Traders
  • Nutraceuticals & Health Food Industry

What We're Looking For

  • 5–15 years of proven B2B enterprise sales or business development experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of trade/export regulations (preferred).
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Performance Expectations

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Expand client base across target geographies and sectors.
  • Maintain high conversion ratios from leads to deals.
  • Deliver timely compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
