Cluster Sales Manager- Used Car Loan

Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing the Piramal brand by overseeing the sales team and business development activities for Used Car Loans
- Prepare branch wise implementation plan to achieve defined targets in alignment with the Geography sales manager
- Ensure achievement for overall sales and cross sell targets for the cluster through building and development of internal team of Sales Managers and DSTs and channel partners , while ensuring maintenance of required standards for customer satisfaction, profitability metrics and product mix
- Devise strategies/means to continually improve HL Disbursements in Mass Affluent and Affordable segments for all branches in the cluster and guide the teams in operationalizing the same through DSTs and Channel partners
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information to plan and undertake measures for expansion of the business within the geographic limit of the area as budgeted and act as the feedback loop from branch to region
- Provide feedback on product offerings, channels and processes to the Geography sales manager and other functional teams (Product, Marketing, credit, operations, technical, legal) to identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct regular visits to the locations to nurture the relationships established by the internal team and channel partners and collaborate with alliance partners and distributors to grow the market presence
- Ensure implementation of SOPs and best practices across all branches mapped to the cluster and guide sales managers how to best achieve business targets and manage productivity
- Monitor annual budgeted expenses and manage resources within budgetary guidelines according to the company policy
- Minimize audit deviations by ensuring compliance to all policies and processes for the cluster
- Track and analyze reports and MIS, review and implement performance sheets and provide feedback to Sales Managers for course correction
- Guide Sales Managers for all branches in purview on activating the channel partners to expand reach of the products, within the defined geographical limits
- Support alternate channel teams by ensuring appropriate protocols and adherence thereof, by internal teams for proper onboarding, engagement and lead generation at branches
- Assess the training and development needs of the teams and channel partners and collaborate with therelevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of the same
Preferred candidate profile
- 6-10 years of experience in a Bank or NBFC
- Minimum 2-3 years of team handling experience in Used Car segment
- Experience of recruiting and training of sales team and channel partners
- Experience of managing multiple branches with deep knowledge and understanding of the local market
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of compliance regulations as issued by RBI etc.
