Job Title: Accounts Executive – Building Construction

Job Location: (Porur)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance within a building construction environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing site-level expenses, contractor payments, and construction project accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial transactions (payments, receipts, journal entries, etc.)
  • Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts (Tally/Vyapar).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable; track outstanding payments.
  • Prepare and process vendor and contractor bills, including verification with site teams.
  • Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and return filings.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and site-level expense tracking.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support audits (internal and statutory) and maintain required documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to manage budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
  • Reconciliation of purchase orders with supplier invoices.
  • Maintain asset registers, depreciation schedules, and project-wise costing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com/MBA preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and labor compliance in construction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with occasional site visits if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
