Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Wealth Research & Products team as a Fixed Income Research cum Product Analyst. The role involves conducting deep research on fixed income markets, analyzing bonds/NCDs/structured products, and supporting the development, evaluation, and distribution of wealth products. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping fixed income strategies, preparing product notes, and enabling the advisory/sales teams with data-backed insights.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct fundamental and relative-value analysis of fixed income instruments (bonds, NCDs, MLDs, G-Secs, corporate debt, structured products, FDs).
  • Track macroeconomic indicators: interest rates, inflation, RBI policy, liquidity trends, credit spreads, and yield curve movements.
  • Prepare research notes, sector outlooks, and product comparisons across fixed income opportunities.
  • Monitor credit ratings, default risks, and covenants of issuers.

Product Development & Support

  • Support the design and evaluation of fixed income products within the Wealth Management platform.
  • Coordinate with issuers/partners (AMCs, PMS, AIF, NBFCs, Corporates) to assess product structures, terms, and suitability.
  • Build product notes, pitch decks, and comparison sheets for client-ready communication.
  • Contribute to Wealth House View formulation on debt markets and fixed income allocation.

Stakeholder Enablement

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Advisors, and Sales Teams to provide product positioning, advisory insights, and client-facing content.
  • Support portfolio construction by providing yield analysis, duration/credit call recommendations, and risk-adjusted return views.
  • Train internal stakeholders on new products and fixed income themes.

Data & Compliance

  • Maintain product databases, trackers, and performance sheets.
  • Ensure product due diligence and regulatory compliance (SEBI/RBI/Company guidelines).
  • Track secondary market trading data, accrual/dirty price, and provide execution support.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong understanding of fixed income markets, credit analysis, and structured products.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, build models, and derive insights.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for preparing research notes and client-facing materials.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced wealth management environment with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate in Finance / MBA / CFA / CA / FRM preferred.
  • 25 years of relevant experience in Fixed Income Research / Product / Wealth Management / Treasury / Credit Rating.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg/Refinitiv (if available), and financial modelling.
