
SaaS Sales Head

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head Sales and Business Development for a suite of SaaS solutions, including Compliance, Contract, Case, and IPR Management. This strategic yet hands-on role requires a dynamic professional capable of strengthening market positioning, scaling revenues, and driving sustainable growth. The role involves leading a high-performing team, managing nationwide P&L, and consistently identifying new opportunities in a competitive SaaS landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Drive B2B sales with a focus on direct client acquisition and long-term relationship building.
Position SaaS solutions as market leaders through innovative sales and branding strategies.
Identify and leverage opportunities to continuously expand the client base.
Drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and meet aggressive growth objectives.
Manage sales pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and optimize sales conversions.
Market Evaluation & Competitive Analysis
Analyze customer behavior, industry trends, and competitor movements to inform strategic decisions.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion avenues.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and customer success team.
Define clear objectives, provide actionable feedback, and drive consistent team performance.
Build a culture of performance excellence aligned with business goals.
P&L Management
Oversee nationwide profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the SaaS business unit.
Ensure strong financial performance through effective revenue and cost management.
Executive Presence & Communication
Represent the organization at industry forums, client meetings, and conferences.
Engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including leadership teams and boards.
Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer-Centric Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, VPs, Procurement Heads).
Understand client pain points and deliver tailored SaaS solutions that create tangible value.
Ensure customer retention and lifecycle management.
Product Management & Technical Collaboration
Work closely with product management to align sales strategies with product roadmaps.
Demonstrate technical acumen to effectively articulate SaaS value propositions to clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Tech/B.E. + MBA from a reputed institution.
Experience: 8+ years in sales, with at least 3 years in SaaS/enterprise online sales.
Proven track record in corporate/enterprise selling, driving ARR, and managing nationwide P&L.
Strong leadership in building and scaling sales and customer success teams.
Proactive, competitive, and thrives in fast-paced growth environments.
Technically adept with strong market analysis skills.
Excellent executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
