Role Overview -
We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager
to lead our B2B client acquisition in the Kolkata market. This role will focus on building partnerships with
schools (for carpool programs), 3 & 5-star hotels, IT companies, and IT parks
, engaging directly with top-level executives to present our plug-and-play EV mobility model and secure long-term business contracts.
Key Responsibilities -
- Identify, target, and onboard B2B clients in the Kolkata region, focusing on schools, premium hotels, IT companies, and IT parks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and senior management to drive strategic partnerships.
- Present GRNLYFT Mobility's plug-and-play EV transport solutions, highlighting cost savings, sustainability benefits, and operational ease.
- Negotiate and close business contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to design customised mobility solutions for each client segment.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the EV and mobility sector.
- Represent GRNLYFT Mobility at industry events, networking meets, and client presentations in the Kolkata market.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (experience in mobility, hospitality, education, or IT sectors is a plus).
- Proven track record of engaging with senior executives and closing high-value contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for sustainability, clean mobility, and innovative business solutions
Compensation (Contract Basis)-
This role follows a commission-based structure. You will earn
5% commission on every closed deal
. For example, if you successfully close a deal worth
₹1 Crore (1 CR)
, you will receive an
instant commission of ₹5 Lakhs (5% of the deal value)
. There is
no fixed salary
, and earnings are directly proportional to the deals you close.
