Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks on garments, accessories, trims, and other materials used in production.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for fabric types, colors, textures, and finishes.
- Perform quality audits at various stages of production to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement effective quality control processes to minimize defects.
Oversee in-line, mid-line, and final quality inspections.
- Ensure adherence to buyer specifications, AQL standards, and T&A deadlines.
- Develop and implement quality control systems and SOPs across departments.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with merchandising, production, and finishing departments for quality assurance.
- Lead and train quality checkers, supervisors, and auditors to maintain consistent quality.
- Handle buyer quality audits and maintain documentation.
- Monitor defects, rework, and rejection rates, and drive improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with social, technical, and environmental standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.).
