Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our plush toy manufacturing operations comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, with a focus on both social and quality compliance aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to social compliance (e.g., labor rights, ethical sourcing, fair trade) and quality compliance (e.g., product safety, quality control, testing).
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes, facilities, and products to identify compliance risks and areas for improvement in both social and quality compliance domains.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards related to toy manufacturing, social compliance, and quality assurance, and ensure that our practices remain in compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, human resources, and supply chain management, to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance requirements, procedures, and best practices related to both social and quality compliance.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and third-party auditors to facilitate compliance activities, certifications, and social compliance audits.
  • Monitor and track compliance metrics and performance indicators related to both social and quality compliance to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in the plush or garment industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to toy manufacturing, social compliance (e.g., SMETA, SCAN, GVS, etc.), and quality assurance (e.g., ASTM F963, EN71).
  • Experience conducting compliance audits, assessments, and investigations in both social and quality compliance domains.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹29, ₹35,141.21 per month
