Location: Office 2.0, 20th floor, Galaxy Blue Sapphire Plaza, Extension, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Work hours are aligned with EST, from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, five days a week onsite from the Noida office.

Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer II is a crucial member of the Quality Engineering (QE) team, responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of software functionality to create effective testing strategies for software releases. This role involves gaining a working knowledge of interfacing applications, test environments, and testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain test plans, and create manual and automated test cases for application projects.

- Conduct testing as outlined in the Test Plan, documenting and reporting problems using Jira.

- Execute regression tests for updated applications and maintain detailed records of all testing activities.

- Prepare reports summarizing testing results and collaborate with developers and users to enhance testing processes, defect isolation, and tracking.

- Formulate test strategies based on technical specifications and business requirements.

- Communicate effectively with IT management and business users.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in a technical field, technical certifications, or equivalent work experience.

- 3-5 years of experience as a software tester, focusing on functional automation, test plans, and test scripts.

- 2-4 years of experience with web technologies, including web enterprise servers, programming languages, SQL databases, and client/server development.

- Basic understanding of software processing and experience in large, complex technology projects.

- Familiarity with .NET technologies, Java, Python, API and web services, stored procedures, and middle-tier applications.

- Experience with automation frameworks and end-to-end software system testing.

- Availability for various shifts, extended hours, and on-call support.

- Strong analytical and problem-management skills, with the ability to resolve issues in testing environments.

- Ability to multi-task across diverse test environments and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience with Python and the Robot Framework.

- 3-5 years of experience with Selenium and Appium.
