Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead quality function in the organisation covering Incoming quality, In process quality and final quality. The role will be responsible for driving Zero defect manufacturing on the shop floor covering SMT, Backend and final assembly operations..

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and set up quality processes for all the sub functions in the quality organisation. The role will be leading end to end quality initiatives in the organisation.
  2. Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure Zero defects during manufacturing processes.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Hands on experience in quality systems like ISO 9001: 2015, IATF 16469.
  6. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leading quality function, with a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of SMT processes and technologies.
  4. Strong understanding of backend manufacturing operations, including box build, testing, inspection, and packaging of electronic assemblies.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  6. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electronics manufacturing.
