Business Development Representative - Growth Markets

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sponsorship and media sales team. Reporting to the Sales/Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sponsorship and media sales by building strong pipelines, engaging prospects, and supporting the team in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

This role is ideal for ambitious, results-driven individuals with prior experience in B2B sales, who want to work with senior decision-makers in Tech, AI, and Data and grow into a leadership role over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Identify and engage potential sponsors and media clients across technology, AI, and data-driven enterprises.
  • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls to build interest and secure meetings.
  • Sales Execution
  • Present and pitch sponsorship packages for AIM Media House's international events & conferences
  • Work closely with the Sales/Business Development Manager to develop customized proposals.
  • Support in negotiations and help drive deals to closure.
  • Pipeline Management
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads in the CRM system.
  • Regularly update activity and progress.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or business development, for events or conferences driving sponsorships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior executives.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas (individual or team-based).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes.
