Experience: 10–15 years in Domestic Solar EPC / Government Solar Schemes
Reporting To: Management/Directors
Team Handling: State-wise Domestic BD & Field Teams
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Head for our Domestic Solar EPC vertical, with a strong background in residential rooftop solar projects under the PM Suryaghar Yojana. The role requires leadership in driving sales across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra, managing regional teams, and ensuring rapid growth in the domestic solar segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Domestic BD teams across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
- Drive business exclusively for Domestic Solar Rooftop under PM Suryaghar Yojana.
- Develop region-wise strategies to increase domestic rooftop installations.
- Generate leads through DISCOMs, government initiatives, channel partners, RWAs, and door-to-door campaigns.
- Manage and monitor survey teams, installation teams, and on-ground BD executives.
- Conduct client visits, community meetings, awareness campaigns, and local marketing activities.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations and Projects team for site surveys, estimates, subsidy documentation, and execution timelines.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, timely installation, and subsidy process completion.
- Track daily/weekly progress, review team performance, and ensure target achievement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, DISCOM officials, and local authorities.
- Expand presence across new districts and strengthen the domestic network.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of PM Suryaghar Yojana, DISCOM processes, subsidy documentation, and rooftop solar installation flow.
- Proven track record in managing domestic solar sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive large field teams and handle high-volume residential customers.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned states.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering is an added advantage).
- MBA in Marketing/Sales is beneficial.
Salary
As per company norms and based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
