Our customers use VIMANA to:Connect and analyze data from their production systems

Generate insights, predictions, and recommendations to optimize machine, line and workforce productivity and operational efficiency

Obtain complete component, assembly and line traceability

Predict, plan and reduce equipment downtime through predictive repair and preventive maintenance scheduling

Enhance aftermarket services though intelligent proactive service and updates

Improve product designs by collecting real-time field data to model and analyze digital twins The VIMANA team is looking for smart and highly motivated salespersons with prior experience in selling Smart Manufacturing solutions in India to drive its Direct and Channel Sales in various regions in India. Job ProfileDrive accelerated business growth for VIMANA solutions in the assigned region in India, in association with the teams that promote these solutions. Lead, develop and implement growth strategies for VIMANA solutions effectively, by creating targeted and business-relevant solutions, practice development, and marketing engagements across industries.

Achieve sales targets by implementing these strategies by developing and converting sales opportunities. Duties / ResponsibilitiesLead VIMANA's Smart Manufacturing sales in the assigned region and drive accelerated business growth

Position and drive the VIMANA suite of products across multiple industries, generate business opportunities and pipeline, and bring them to fruition through end-to-end sales cycles

Build and follow up on sales leads, make and maintain Account Plans, establish long term customer relationships, develop opportunities towards closure, develop proposals, process orders, and ensure collection of payment

Systematic reporting of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual ForecastsManage Key Accounts, ensure healthy relationships with Customers and Channel PartnersDevelop and enable Channel Partners and associate in Channel growth

Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Field Support, Marketing and Product Development, as well as Strategic Partners / Vendors / Solution providers to deliver customer success and realized value to drive business growth for VIMANABuild and sustain collaborative working relationships with counterparts in other regions and management stakeholders to encourage account and solution cooperation

Continuously enhance understanding of the competitive landscape of the target market; seize opportunities to adapt, change and respond with the business models

Evaluate strategic business propositions, potential partnerships & alliances, and make recommendations to management on strategies to implement new business activities; translate the recommendation(s) into action

Develop a good understanding of the VIMANA solution portfolio, and position it effectively EducationBachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or related from a reputed institution

Experience in negotiating Sales Contracts with Key Accounts Knowledge of the Region and Customers, especially in Manufacturing verticals of Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Machinery, and Defense industries, as well as in AcademiaProficiency with Sales CRM systems such as SDFCGood knowledge of industry standards, processes and tools, including manufacturing processesExperience10-20 years' experience in Sales and Business Development in the Smart Manufacturing domain, focused on solution sales

Demonstrated ability to achieve Sales targets

Experience in Digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies and Digital transformation is a must

Experience in practice development, process improvement, decision making, managing customers, strategic management and developing standards

Extensive knowledge and experience in software solution development and consulting for the manufacturing domain is a must

Experience and success in strategy development and execution for new business units

Good aptitude to capture customer requirements, perform market studies, and drive commercial business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities DesiredExcellent interpersonal relationship building and team-building skills

Ability to understand and capture business requirements, processes, and customer problems

Excellent analytical, verbal, written and communication skills, and able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences

Excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to handle complex challenges even under pressure

Ready to travel 60% of the working days
