Customer Interaction Intern (Chat-first) — Be the friendly, calm voice of Divine Hindu across WhatsApp & website chat.

Location: Sector 27, Gurugram — Work from Office

Duration: 3–6 months | Paid Internship

Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM Work from Office (6 days), 2nd Sat off

Joining: Immediate

Work mode: Strictly in-office (No remote / hybrid).

About the role

You'll handle high-volume chat conversations (WhatsApp Business + website chat), protect conversions, and create delightful post-purchase experiences. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role — ideal for someone calm under pressure, empathetic, and detail-oriented.

Primary channel: Live chat — 100–200 chats/day (short queries, order lookups, quick troubleshooting, escalation).

Secondary channels: Inbound/outbound calls and email for complex issues or follow-ups.

Tone: Polite, brand-aligned, in Hinglish / Hindi + English.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage 100–200 chat conversations daily with speed and empathy.
  • Resolve WhatsApp & website queries: order status, tracking, cancellations, product FAQs, payment confirmations.
  • Process and coordinate returns, refunds, and replacements using Shopify + CRM/ticketing tools.
  • Raise and follow up on escalations with Warehouse, Logistics, and Quality teams.
  • Log accurate notes & tags for every interaction; keep CRM/ticket updated until closure.
  • Use and improve canned replies / knowledge base for consistent, fast responses.
  • Collect customer feedback and flag recurring issues to the CX lead.

Must-have

  • Strong written communication in Hindi + English (Hinglish fluency preferred).
  • Fast, accurate typing under pressure (comfortable with 100–200 chats/day).
  • Comfortable speaking on phone calls when needed.
  • Proactive, patient, detail-oriented, and able to follow SOPs.
  • Prior customer-facing experience or internships — a plus.
