About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 09
The Role: Content Analyst, Credit Solutions
The Team
The Credit Solutions (CS) team is a distinct business line within the Risk & Valuation Services business unit, dedicated to the commercial distribution of credit ratings, research and related content, from S&P Global Ratings.
The RatingsXpress Product Development Team is responsible for delivering S&P Global's credit-related data to clients through high-performance delivery channels, including data feeds, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. We work at the intersection of finance, technology, and product strategy—transforming complex credit ratings, research, and market intelligence into structured, reliable, and accessible data.
Our team partners closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design, enhance, and scale our delivery platforms, ensuring clients can seamlessly integrate our data into their workflows. We emphasize innovation, data quality, and performance to meet the evolving needs of global financial institutions, investment managers, and corporate clients.
Joining RatingsXpress Product Development Team means contributing to mission-critical products that empower clients to make informed credit risk and investment decisions in real time. The Impact
Through collaboration with S&P Global Ratings, your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable, timely, and accurate credit risk data to our global customers. You will act as a liaison between product stakeholders, technical teams, and clients—translating business needs into actionable product requirements and validating that solutions meet those needs through thorough UAT processes. You will conduct UAT on internal databases after data ingestion from S&P Global Ratings and on developed products before client delivery.
Whats in for you:
S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our Credit Solutions team. You will play a dual role: ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality credit risk data through rigorous user acceptance testing, while also driving product vision and execution as a key Product Owner. This hybrid role is pivotal in supporting our data delivery via feeds, APIs, cloud deliveries, and future platforms
Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing
Define, document, and execute comprehensive UAT plans and test cases for new features and data releases.
Collaborate with QA, development, and data teams to ensure data accuracy and delivery reliability.
Validate Credit Solutions data feeds, API endpoints, and cloud-delivered content for completeness and correctness.
Log, track, and prioritize defects; verify fixes before production releases.
Product Ownership
Act as the subject matter expert and voice of the customer for Credit Solutions data delivery products.
Gather and translate business requirements into clearly defined user stories and product backlog items.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, client needs, and technical feasibility.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within S&P Global Ratings and S&P Global Market Intelligence to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions on time.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a Product Management, Business Analyst, UAT, or data testing role within financial services or fintech.
Strong working knowledge of SQL for data validation, transformation, and investigation.
Proven ability to define and execute UAT in data-centric environments.
Experience working with data delivery mechanisms: data feeds (e.g., FTP, SFTP), APIs (e.g., REST), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred
Experience with credit risk data, credit ratings, or financial risk modeling.
Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
