About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager – Contract Labour to manage and streamline the hiring of contract manpower across various project sites. The role involves close coordination with project heads, site teams, and labour contractors to ensure timely deployment of skilled and unskilled workers while maintaining statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for contract labour, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and deployment.
  • Coordinate with project heads and site supervisors to assess manpower needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and manage labour supply contracts, renewals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, wage laws, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain updated databases for contract workers, attendance, and wage records.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounts teams for payroll inputs, attendance validation, and payment processing.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor attendance, performance, and worker welfare.
  • Address and resolve issues related to contract manpower.
  • Prepare and share manpower reports and MIS with management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in HR, Management, or related field).
  • Proven experience in contract labour recruitment and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HR management software.
  • Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in recruitment and management of contract manpower.
  • Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or facility management preferred.
  • Must have handled large-scale bulk hiring and labour contractor coordination.
