Business Development Manager

Understand and deeply know the above Hexagon products: features, differentiators, use -cases, pricing/licensing models. Identify prospective customers in Chennai / Mumbai / Ahmedabad (OEMs, component manufacturers, engineering firms) who would benefit from CAE, simulation, plant design, metal forming, etc.Conduct product demonstrations (online/offline), technical discussions, proof -of -concepts where needed, in conjunction with technical / pre -sales teams.Respond to RFPs / RFQs, prepare commercial proposals. Close sales, negotiate contracts, maintain sales forecasts, achieve regional targets.Maintain strong post‐sales relationships: ensure customer onboarding, licensing renewals, upgrades.Keep up -to -date with market trends, competitive tools (e.g. ANSYS, Altair, Dassault, etc.), pricing, new product launches by Hexagon. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Automotive / Production / Industrial / Metallurgical Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience (typically 2 -6 years in B2B software / engineering solutions sales. Preference for CAE / Simulation / CAD / Plant / Manufacturing software.Familiarity with at least some of the Hexagon MSC / Simufact / CADWorx tools listed above.Good understanding of engineering concepts: FEA, CFD, multibody dynamics, metal forming, plant layout, etc.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Should be able to talk technically and commercially.Self -driven, target oriented, ability to work independently across multiple regions.Willingness to travel (within assigned region, occasionally outside).
