Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a BIM Architect with a deep understanding of the BIM process from concept through to completion.
  • Proficient in BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong architectural design skills with the ability to integrate complex data sets into comprehensive and functional BIM models.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory guidelines in order to ensure compliance in all BIM processes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to BIM applications.
  • Experience in facilitating design coordination meetings and making informed decisions based on BIM data analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of complex BIM models across various projects, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to integrate BIM methodologies into project workflows.
  • Ensure that all BIM models comply with industry regulations and client-specific requirements through regular audits.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and BIM coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings, facilitating effective communication and resolution of potential design conflicts.
  • Utilize BIM data to support strategic planning and decision-making processes for project development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM technologies and industry trends to ensure cutting-edge solutions are implemented.
  • Review and approve construction documents and as-built models for documentation accuracy and completeness.
