  • Coordinating the overall digital implementation within the IDL team and supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary projects.
  • Enforcing processes and procedures led by the ME IDL team across the wider organization.
  • Enhancing the design management process by utilizing modern methods of design coordination.
  • Reporting coordination issues using modern methods that can be integrated within Power BI.
  • Ensuring the correct Level of Development (LOD) and Level of Information Need (LOIN) are achieved by the engineers/modelers (multidisciplinary).
  • Enforcing best digital practices from concept to completion.
  • Coordinating the overall deployment of digital delivery within multidisciplinary design projects in alignment with the organization's way of working and best practices, as directed by the multidisciplinary BIM Lead – IDL.
  • Supporting the multidisciplinary BIM Lead IDL in managing the project supply chain to deliver high-quality information, data, and models to the appointing party and ensuring that information delivery within the supply chain follows contract requirements.
  • Working in close collaboration with the assigned disciplinary project BIM leads, including input to quality assurance and quality control of deliverables, and verification of compliance with project standards.
  • Assisting in the creation of deliverables, model federation, design coordination reports, quality control plans, design review procedures, construction sequencing (4D), cost estimating (5D), asset management BIM implementation (COBie), and e-Specs implementation.
  • Attending meetings with clients and third parties and assisting the BIM Leads - IDL in presentation and navigation throughout the models.
  • Assisting and supporting in the analysis/implementation of BIM Execution Plans for BIM deliverables production.
  • Configuring and maintaining the project common data environment to enable the effective management of deliverables.
  • Assisting in planning project deliverables and managing their effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM Execution Plan.
  • Coordinating issues with design teams to develop and reinforce standards with the goal of refining the models and BIM deliverables.
  • Assisting the BIM Leads - IDL in leading BIM implementation, standards, modeling workflow, and methodologies during the project design lifecycle.
  • Supporting quality assurance at project kick-offs and compiling BIM best practices and lessons learned.
  • Integrating leading-edge BIM applications, including scheduling, cost, asset management, and O&M programs into the BIM models.
  • Monitoring and guiding the model advancement and utilization process for future construction.
  • Reporting to the BIM Lead – IDL and project and design management team in a structured manner. Minimum content to include: BIM issue tracker, model audit reports, BIM for clash detection results for in-progress and completed conflicts resolution, status of model development, models compliance reports, handover reports, BEP appendices preparation, etc.
