Job Summary:

BIM Coordinators are responsible for managing the Detail design engineering phase for Veolia projects using the latest 3D Modeling software tools viz., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Aveva E3D etc., and drive implementation of BIM Processes as necessary and in line with Customer specifications applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

The essential responsibilities are as noted below but not limited to,

Coordinate and support BIM efforts on multi-disciplinary and multi-regional projects

1. Coordinate efforts for bidding and proposals regarding BIM aspects of the projects.
2. Shall be able to create BIM execution plan & assist in developing project schedules, Engineering Costs associated with BIM execution, Work breakdown plan for Detail Engineering for Water & Wastewater treatment projects.
3. Shall be expert in at least one of the 3D Plant Design software tools from Autodesk or Aveva platforms.
4. Shall have in depth understanding of BIM Execution process and entire project execution workflow from development of Smart P&IDs, 3D Model development (LOD 100 Through 500) and integration with P&ID, Cloud based workshare with Customer/Customer consultants in ACC/Aveva platform, lead model federation, Develop Detail engineering/Construction drawings, Drive and coordinate Model reviews and project delivery through BIM etc.,
5. Engineering Software Customization experience with Autodesks Plant3D or Autodesk Revit
6. Experience in creating/appending/adding catalog/specs/families to the 3D Plant engineering software tools.
7. Experience in migration of customization to the higher versions of the software tool.
8. Creation and maintenance of software templates/libraries/families.
9. Conduct trainings for our Design staff in BIM Execution
10. Provide assistance in plotting and electronic file submissions.
11. Work with vendors for sorting complex Design production issues.
12. Work with our IT/Digital/Innovation teams related to the BIM tools and digital solutions.
13. Ensuring production of deliverables is as per BIM standards
14. Leading the efforts regarding model management, BIM objectives, coordination and collaboration within Veolia for projects across regions.
15. Creation of managed projects using Autodesk construction cloud collaboration software
16. Assist project teams in BIM project setup.
17. Evaluate and adopt new BIM related software technologies.
18. Good knowledge of engineering drawing and 2D-3D concepts

Educational Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical/Chemical with Piping/BIM certification.

Key Skills required (must haves – certifications/ know-how):

1. Proven experience in leading BIM coordination within Plant engineering domain especially in Water and Wastewater, Oil & Gas Domain, Large Municipal Wastewater Treatment plants etc.,
2. Proficiency in BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Plant3D, Aveva E3D, Navisworks and ACC
3. Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO and protocols.
4. Certification in BIM-related disciplines (e.g., BIM Certified Professional) is preferred
5. Able to understand the BIM execution plan for the individual projects and deliver it to Customer in line with Specifications and LOD requirements.
6. Manage multiple large projects by coordinating with Multiple project stake holders through any of the Cloud engineering Platforms example ACC, SmarPlant foundation, Bentley Plant site/ProjectWise, Aveva Net and Revit
7. Develop Tool customization/Productivity enhancements required for Multiple CAD Platforms by using programming platforms supported by them.

Guide the team to develop the required customization/tool Automation as necessary to optimize the project execution.
