Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, providing support for computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations and delivering excellent support to our internal users.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to IT support tickets, phone calls, and in-person requests.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and commonly used software applications.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and IT assets.

Need to follow IT policies, procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.

Ensure compliance with IT security best practices to safeguard systems and data.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Prior experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or IT Support Technician (freshers with strong fundamentals are also encouraged to apply).

Solid understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and networking concepts.

Familiarity with popular software applications and remote support tools.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel and provide after-hours support if required.
