Regional Sales Manager

Role
- Oversee sales operations in a defined geographic region.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales executives / area managers.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop regional sales plans and strategies aligned with company goals.
- Forecast and track sales performance, report on metrics.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and distributors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Ensure timely collection of payments, follow ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product and logistics) for smooth operations.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and motivate sales staff in region.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Business, Engineering, etc.).

- Proven experience as a RSM or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
*
- 0 to5 years of sales experience, including team management.
- Experience in handling region / large territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred
- Experience in the specific product category or industry.
- Good knowledge of market dynamics in that region.
