IoT Technician

We are seeking a skilled IoT Engineer to design, develop, and deploy comprehensive Internet of Things solutions from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded systems development and a strong background in creating scalable IoT architectures across hardware, firmware, and cloud platforms.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentDesign and architect end-to-end IoT solutions including hardware selection, firmware development, connectivity protocols, and cloud integration
• Develop embedded firmware for microcontroller platforms including Arduino, Node MCU (ESP8266/ESP32), and Raspberry Pi
• Create custom PCB designs and prototype development for IoT devices
• Implement sensor integration, data acquisition, and real-time processing systems
• Design and develop IoT device communication protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, cellular, etc.)
• Deployment & IntegrationDeploy IoT solutions in production environments with focus on scalability and reliability
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT)
• Implement device management, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and remote monitoring capabilities
• Develop APIs and web interfaces for IoT data visualization and control
• Ensure security implementation across all layers of IoT architecture
• Technical LeadershipCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and product teams
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new IoT projects
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing IoT deployments for performance and power efficiency
• Maintain technical documentation and create deployment guides
• Required QualificationsTechnical Skills3 years of hands-on experience with Arduino ecosystem and development environment
• Proficient in Node MCU (ESP8266/ESP32) programming and WiFi/Bluetooth integration
• Experience with Raspberry Pi for IoT gateway applications and Linux-based solutions
• Strong programming skills in C/C , Python, and JavaScript
• Experience with communication protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, CoAP
• Knowledge of sensor technologies, ADC/DAC, I2C, SPI, UART protocols
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (Eagle, KiCad, or Altium)
• IoT Architecture & CloudExperience with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT)
• Understanding of IoT security principles and implementation
• Knowledge of database systems for IoT data storage (InfluxDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools
• Familiarity with edge computing and fog computing concepts
• Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in agile development methodologies
