Area Manager

A Pharma Area Manager (ASM) leads a sales team in a specific territory, focusing on achieving sales targets, building brand awareness, and nurturing relationships with doctors/chemists by setting strategies, coaching reps, analysing market trends, and driving product promotion through field activities and data analysis. Key duties involve team training, sales planning, customer engagement, and reporting, ensuring growth and meeting company goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Strategy:
- Develop and implement area sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Formulate plans for new product launches and promotions (e.g., RCPA).
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage, train, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).
- Conduct regular team meetings and on-the-job training for brand knowledge and sales skills.
- Ensure high team morale and performance by resolving issues.
- Customer & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Oversee MRs' doctor visits, ensuring effective coverage and engagement.
- Gather customer feedback and report to senior management.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Monitor team performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹13, ₹20,000.00 per month
