Job Summary:
The Area Service Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end after-sales service operations for large home appliances across the assigned territory. The role focuses on service excellence, customer satisfaction, service partner management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage service operations for large home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, etc.
- Oversee and support authorized service centers and field technicians in the assigned area.
- Ensure adherence to service KPIs including TAT, first-time resolution, repeat complaints, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor spare parts availability, inventory control, and warranty claims.
- Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of service partners.
- Train and guide service teams on product knowledge, service quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, supply chain, and customer support.
- Prepare MIS reports on service performance, costs, and improvement plans.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in after-sales service for large home appliances.
- Sound knowledge of service operations, warranty processes, and field service management.
- Proven ability to manage service partners and large service teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Education:
- BE / B.Tech / MBA in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
