Key Responsibilities
Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees.
Maintain registers for visitors, and other persons
To guard the premises against theft and keep it secure.
Maintain reports of daily activities, movements of goods – in and out.
Reporting irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised people, or unusual occurrences to the Admin Manager.
In the case of a fire, the security guard is expected to activate the fire alarm and try to use fire extinguisher to control the situation and in worst case contact the fire department. In addition, he should also report to the Admin Manager.
After office working hours, they should regularly check the following
a. Switching off all lights / exhaust fans and Air Conditioners.
b. Laptops, Printers and Servers are not to be touched.
c. Windows, gates and doors should be kept closed.
Terms and Conditions
Security Guard should be approachable at all times. No excuses will be allowed for not answering calls or missing from the premises.
In case, if there is an urgent need for the Security Guard to leave the office premises, he should inform his manager, get a replacement and then leave. All this should be done with the knowledge of the Admin Officer of PDA.
