The current physical security industry is marked by fragmentation, with no single vendor offering a truly unified, end-to-end software solution. Our software is built to integrate seamlessly with leading hardware providers, making IDCUBE the platform of choice for open, flexible, and future-ready physical security ecosystems.
Role Summary:
Drive service business and upgrades for physical access control systems in existing installations (brownfield). Combine technical know-how with sales skills to identify retrofit/upgrade opportunities, prepare and close proposals, and manage relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit existing access control systems (readers, controllers, credentials, turnstiles/barriers) and identify upgrade/service opportunities.
Prepare technical proposals, scope of work, and commercial offers for retrofits, spares, service contracts, and life-extension.
Work with internal engineering, support service teams, and integrators to execute site visits, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance.
Maintain and grow installed-base accounts: service contracts, renewals, aftermarket, digital/mobile access upgrades.
Travel to customer sites, understand existing infrastructure, and influence decision-makers (facility/security managers, integrators).
Update CRM/service tools: pipeline, customer interactions, upgrade history, forecasts.
Stay updated on PACS technologies: mobile credentials, cloud access, biometric integration, networking standards (e.g., OSDP).
Individually conduct product demonstrations and proof of concept with the existing End Users and new prospects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
~5-10 years of experience in service or sales engineering of access control/security systems in brownfield or retrofit contexts.
Strong understanding of access control hardware & software, networking (IP/low-voltage), retrofit/upgrade business.
Proven track record in technical sales or service sales for existing installations (retrofit/upgrade).
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable with travel and field/industrial/commercial site environments.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, able to manage multiple accounts and a pipeline.
Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office; bonus if knowledge of mobile/cloud access control, integrator business, and standards.
