
Export Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute export sales strategies to expand market reach and drive revenue growth. Identify and engage with international buyers, importers, distributors, and wholesalers for agricultural commodities. Handle end-to-end export operations, including market research, pricing, documentation, and compliance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while understanding their specific sourcing requirements. Collaborate with internal teams for order fulfillment, packaging, logistics, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with global food safety standards, trade regulations, and export documentation (APEDA, FSSAI, Customs, etc.).
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international buyers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and demand fluctuations to optimize sales strategies. Work in a lean team environment, taking ownership of tasks beyond core sales, including business development and branding initiatives.
Key Requirements:5+ years of experience in agri exports, international trade, or B2B sales (preferably in spices, pulses, or grains). Strong understanding of export documentation, logistics, and trade regulations. Proven ability to develop new markets and scale export operations.
Experience working with export promotion councils, government schemes, and trade fairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced and lean startup environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Willingness to travel internationally for business development and client meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools is a plus.
