Key Responsibilities of an

F&B GSA1. Guest Service· Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus.

· Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.

· Serve food and drinks professionally, following sequence of service standards.

· Anticipate guest needs (refilling water, clearing plates, offering recommendations).

· Handle guest complaints politely and escalate if required.

2. Dining Area Management· Ensure tables are properly set with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and napkins.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas before, during, and after service.

· Reset tables quickly for new guests.

· Assist in preparing for special events, buffets, or banquets.

3. Coordination· Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.

· Work closely with captains and supervisors for smooth operations.

· Support teammates during peak service hours.

4. Upselling & Guest Engagement· Suggest specials, promotions, or pairing options to guests.

· Promote signature dishes or beverages to enhance sales.

· Ensure guest satisfaction by engaging courteously and professionally.

5. Operational Duties· Assist in mise-en-place (stocking condiments, folding napkins, polishing glassware).

· Handle billing, cash, or card transactions as per hotel policy.

· Maintain par stock of service equipment in the restaurant/banquet.

6. Safety & Hygiene· Follow food safety standards and hygiene protocols.

· Handle food, beverages, and service equipment safely.

· Report breakages, hazards, or accidents to supervisors.
