**Job Overview**:
As a **Guest Service Associate** at Park Avenue Hotel, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional guest experiences. In addition to providing front-line guest services, you will play a key role in collecting guest feedback and reviews, ensuring that all guest concerns are addressed promptly. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining high guest satisfaction and ensuring continuous improvements in service quality.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Reception**: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a seamless transition during their stay.
- **Guest Service**: Handle guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- **Complaint Resolution**: Listen to guest concerns, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a positive resolution, escalating to the management when necessary.
- **Guest Feedback Collection**: Actively gather guest feedback during their stay and at check-out, ensuring both positive and constructive comments are collected for continuous improvement.
- **Guest Reviews Management**: Encourage guests to leave reviews on platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, or other relevant sites. Ensure that reviews are monitored regularly and that guests’ feedback is acknowledged.
- **Personalized Service**: Anticipate guest needs and offer tailored recommendations to enhance their stay.
- **Reporting**: Compile daily feedback and review reports, summarizing guest experiences and highlighting areas for improvement. Report significant issues or recurring feedback to management..
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest concerns and ensure a smooth service experience.
- **Administrative Support**: Maintain accurate guest profiles and assist with updating guest records as required.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hotel industry.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently with a professional and positive attitude.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with guests.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail, especially in managing guest feedback and ensuring accurate reporting.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with hotel management software and online review platforms is a plus.
