Role Overview

You will be the primary link between surgeons, hospitals and VITTOMED's product line including surgical cameras, surgical loupes, surgical power tools and OT devices. The role involves in-OT product demonstrations, driving clinical trials, building surgeon relationships and converting them into recurring business

Responsibilities

  • Promote and demonstrate VITTOMED's surgical devices in hospitals and clinics across Kerala
  • Perform live OT demos and assist surgeons or nursing staff during trials
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, biomedical departments and purchase teams
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Identify key accounts and plan strategic hospital penetration
  • Provide training and product knowledge sessions for hospital staff
  • Execute installations and coordinate after-sales support with the technical team
  • Participate in workshops, CMEs and clinical events to boost brand presence
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and company policies

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • 1+ years experience in medical device/surgical equipment sales
  • Excellent clinical communication skills with strong Malayalam + English fluency
  • Demonstrated success in hospital field sales and achieving targets
  • Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced OT environments
  • Good technical aptitude in imaging/optics devices is a strong advantage
  • Willing to travel extensively across Kerala
