Senior Program Manager HRH Systems Strengthening

Responsibilities
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration of various domains of Health to improve service delivery by nurses.
- Work closely with other teams in State Health Society to foster and enhance collaboration related to service provision by nurses at community and facility levels.
- Engage experts and other stakeholders related to improving nursing services to develop a comprehensive plan to develop systems for enhancing nursing education and services.
- Engage with other partners including TSU and those engaged in Mission Unnayan and Nursing Services to ensure a seamless implementation for programs and activities related to nursing care.
- Support Nursing Mid-wifery Education and Comprehensive Primary Health Care team is developing a seamless system to integrate the roles of nurses working in various capacities within the health system.
- Design and develop sustainable ecosystems for Continuous Competency building of Nurses
- Lead the design, implementation, and demonstration of replicable Competency Enhancement Units in several key Nursing institutions.
- Identify models and partners for continuous faculty development for competency enhancement units.
- Work closely with teams related to blended training of nurses to develop or refine course curriculum and materials as per requirements that emerge during system building for Nursing HRH competency enhancement.
- Provide thought leadership and liaison with key stakeholders to establish Operational linkages between different domains of Comprehensive Primary Health Care at state level
- Work closely with various state level stakeholders of different program packages of comprehensive primary health care to develop strategies for effective convergence of various health domains to increase coverage and quality of a range of health services.
- Landscape sectors outside health which can leverage and improve the quality of services provided through the CPHC platform, including linkages between climate and health, community and health, one health etc.
- Strengthening the role of SHSB in Nursing
- Work closely with the Nursing team in State Health Society to develop plans and garner resources to strengthen nursing HRH systems in the state of Bihar.
- Engage experts and other stakeholders related to improving nursing services to develop a comprehensive plan to develop systems for enhancing nursing education and services.
- Engage with other partners including TSU and those engaged in Mission Unnayan and Nursing Services to ensure a seamless implementation for programs and activities related to nursing care.
- Strengthen the role of State actors in creating a positive ecosystem for enabling courses related to nurse midwifery practitioners
- Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in any stream related to Health medicine, bioscience & nursing, social work, Public Health, Nutrition, Health administration development, Doctor or Doctorate Preferable
- 12 -15 years of experience in Health Sector
