Program Coordinator

PATH in collaboration with State Health Society Bihar (SHSB) and Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) is implementing Neonatal Resuscitation
- NSSK training to Medical Doctors, Staff Nurse, and ANMs in all district hospitals of Bihar. Training spread over 102 batches. It will result in updating skills of around 3200 health personal over 6-month period.

PATH is seeking Consultant Training Coordination & Documentation (on 3rd party payroll) for smooth completion of training. Consultant will be working out of Patna at training districts and perform following role.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Collect training dates from district, upload on schedule tracker on google sheet.
- Coordinate and facilitate organizing of NSSK Training as per schedule with IAP trainers, District Health Society (DHS), and State Health Society Bihar (SHSB) in the district.
- Work with DHS and SHSB in documentation (Pre and Post Test, Quiz results, feedback form, session photographs, newspaper clipping, attendance sheet etc)
- Coordinate and take initiative in keeping training records of all 102 trainings, resource materials and share online and digital resources with the trainee participants from IAP.
- Prepare training reports for district as well monthly summary reports for the state child health cell, SHSB, IAP, and PATH.
- Facilitate certification of participants by Civil Surgeon and IAP.
- Any other support requested by the state and national lead related to NSSK training.

Abilities/Skills:

- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills work comfortably with varied participant doctors, staff nurse and ANMs.
- Superb skills in MS Office (word, excel, power point), Microsoft Team/ Zoom/ google meet
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt new things.
- High level of integrity.
- Sensitive to different cultures and flexible to work with colleagues.
- High proficiency in Hindi and English language.

Qualifications/Knowledge and Experience:

- Education in Social Work/ public health
- Preferably resident of Bihar.
- Nearly one year of relevant work experience in communications, documentation, and knowledge management of public health program
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and Microsoft Team/ Zoom/ google meet.

Facilities provided:

- Local logistics arrangement.
- Travel and hotel accommodation will be provided by PATH or reimbursed as actuals after the submission of original supporting documents.
- Any other requirements will be provided in coordination with the state lead and state representative.

Management and Reporting:

- Consultant will report to the state lead, Bihar.
- All submissions, including monthly reports, must be made to the state lead for review and approval.
- The position is initially for six months and extended thereafter as per need of the organization and available funding._
