We are seeking an experienced Collection Manager to lead our collections operations at our NBFC branch. The role involves managing a team of agents, implementing effective recovery strategies, handling escalations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will be target-driven, customer-focused, and skilled in minimizing overdue accounts while maintaining healthy client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the collections team to achieve recovery targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to recover delinquent accounts.
  • Handle escalated cases while maintaining professionalism and positive customer relationships.
  • Track, analyze, and report collection performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in collections processes.
  • Identify risks related to overdue accounts and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency in collections operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in collections (NBFC/Banking sector preferred).
  • 2 - 3 years of team management/leadership experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in collections tools/software.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks related to collections.
