Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Chennai Area for a Head of Sales. The Head of Sales will oversee and manage our FMCG sales activities in General Trade all over Tamil Nadu, develop and implement sales strategies, manage the sales team, handle key account management, and drive sales growth. The role involves analyzing market trends, setting sales objectives, and ensuring the team meets its targets through effective leadership and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for market analysis and strategic planning
- Experience in Account Management and handling key clients with extensive experience in Tamilnadu Market
- Proven Sales and Sales Management skills in FMCG
- Team Management skills for leading and motivating the sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- Experience in the food industry, specifically in Beverages and Confectionary is a plus
