Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer – Solar Projects at Ontogeny Engitech Pvt Ltd, located in Gurugram. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, conducting market research, preparing requests for quotations (RFQs), and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Day-to-day tasks will also include maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the project management team to meet project needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Supplier Evaluation and managing Purchase Orders
  • Strong Analytical Skills and ability to conduct market research
  • Proficient in preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in solar projects or the renewable energy sector is a plus
