Job Summary
:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement manager to lead our procurement function at Shiva Enterprises, a leading EPC company. With over 10 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, specializing in the solar energy sector, and be capable of managing strategic sourcing, International Procurement, vendor relations, contract negotiations, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Oversee and manage the entire procurement process(Domestic & International) for EPC projects, focusing on solar energy projects.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.
  • Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to meet project timelines and specifications.
  • Monitor market trends, prices, and potential suppliers to optimize procurement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards in procurement processes.
  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Requirements
:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement within the EPC industry, with a strong focus on solar projects & Transmission & Distribution Projects.
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • In-depth understanding of the solar energy sector and its specific procurement requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications in procurement are a plus.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
