Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager specializing in Direct Procurement for our Gurgaon location. This senior-level, full-time position requires a minimum of 7 to 15 years of relevant experience in procurement and vendor management. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement planning, managing raw material purchases, and ensuring effective supply chain management to support daily business operations and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in procurement with a strong focus on direct procurement strategies and processes.
  • At least 8 to 15 years of experience in the procurement field, with proven skills in managing and optimizing procurement activities.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement planning and its application in achieving organizational objectives efficiently.
  • Solid experience in purchasing raw materials, ensuring the effective negotiation and management of supplier contracts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management and the ability to integrate procurement strategies effectively.
  • Proficient in vendor management with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify procurement needs and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and negotiation across all levels of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for direct procurement to optimize cost efficiency and enforce company policies.
  • Lead and manage procurement processes, ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials to support production schedules.
  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct assessments to determine the best fit for the company's procurement objectives.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts with focus on terms, pricing, and delivering value to the organization.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and align procurement activities with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct risk assessments to ensure that the procurement strategy remains competitive.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, while fostering a productive and professional partnership.
