Manager Procurement

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Execute Planned / Ad-hoc procurement requirements in a timely and systematized manner.
  • Review Purchase Orders and also approve at a preliminary level.
  • Oversee complete P2P (Procurement to Payment ) process.
  • Identify avenues & capitalize on Cost Savings opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new partners/vendors who are cost competitive and in line with organization vision values.
  • Extracting multiple system reports & sharing with stakeholders as and when required not limited to PR-PO within defined TAT , Inventory ageing and liquidation, etc
  • Drive quality and transparency in procurement activities through dashboard for circulation among Senior Leadership team members
  • Regular Partner Governance (both Domestic & International) for timely material delivery and Services Procurement.
  • Manage & maintain various internal SCM compliances.
  • Planning of Funds outflow within a projected time-frame and seek necessary approvals.
  • Act as an escalation point for partner disputes including payment issues resolution.
  • Services Procurement (AMCs / Installation / O&M etc)
  • Liaison with Tax team for any new GST addition or similar statutory compliances.
  • Maintain & track inventory capitalization including locators, move order etc.

Desired Candidate Qualities

  • Engineering Graduate with specialization in 9 yrs experience in Telecom Engineering Warehousing.
  • Candidate with experience Satellite system Equipment purchase will be added advantage.
  • Experience in handling imports for minimum 4-5 yrs in a technology company.
  • Experience with procurement automation tools
  • Results-oriented team and team player
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to enable novel solution
  • Good at time management and project management.
