We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist with a background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Procurement:

  2. Develop and implement procurement strategies for large-scale EPC projects in the fertilizer and chemical sectors.

  3. Optimize supplier sourcing and selection processes to achieve cost efficiency and quality assurance.

  4. Vendor Management:

  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

  6. Conduct vendor audits, performance evaluations, and negotiate long-term contracts.

  7. Identify and onboard reliable suppliers to meet specific project requirements.

  8. Contract Management:

  9. Draft ,review, and negotiate procurement contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  10. Mitigate risks by managing claims, disputes, and variations.

  11. Project Procurement Execution:

  12. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to define material and equipment specifications.

  13. Oversee the procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase order placement.

  14. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.

  15. Cost and Budget Control:

  16. Monitor procurement budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.

  17. Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain dynamics to inform purchasing decisions.

  18. Compliance and Standards:

  19. Ensure adherence to industry standards, corporate policies, and local/international regulatory requirements.

  20. Promote sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of procurement experience in EPC projects, specifically within the fertilizer and chemical industries.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with complex procurement needs.
  • Expertise in global supply chain management and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
