*Roles And Responsibilities:*
Align to the Procurement strategy and ensures implementation of Procurement standards, regulations and guidelines.
Contributes to overarching SCM/ Procurement programs and initiatives.
- Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable suppliers.
- Supplier negotiation, Cost breakdown analysis & performance evaluation year over year and contracts alignment with sourcing strategy.
- Market Research & Benchmarking, Analysing market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier landscape
- Performing supplier comparison, benchmarking, analysing spend, price trends, and sourcing KPIs.
- Coordinate with production, Quality, Projects and finance teams to align materials flow with project timelines and budget- Translate technical requirements into commercial actions
- Takes care for effective risk management measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
- Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives
- Contributes to overarching SCM/ Procurement programs and initiatives which are related to KPIs.
- Follows ERP systems (SAP, ARIBA) for material planning, purchase order management, and reporting.
- Manage end-to-end material procurement, from supplier requisition to delivery and storage
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline procurement and logistics
- Monitor inventory levels and implement best practices for inventory control (JIT, Kanban, safety stock, etc.)
- Manage cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation processes.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and generate reports for management decision-making
- Maintain master data in ERP systems (material master, BOMs, part numbers) and generate regular reports on material availability, inventory turns, shortages, and KPIs.
