Job Title: Sales Manager Talc for Paint Industry

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth in the talc. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the minerals industry, a proven track record in sales and business development, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the minerals sector, particularly in the paint industry.

  3. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets and enhance market presence.
  4. Analyze competitors and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and adjust tactics as needed.

  5. Sales and Business Development:

  6. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and clients in the minerals industry.

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  8. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  9. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and finalization.

  10. Client Relationship Management:

  11. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

  12. Provide expert advice on product offerings, pricing, and market trends to clients.
  13. Develop and execute strategies to retain existing clients and enhance long-term relationships.

  14. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  15. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.

  16. Collaborate with the technical team to understand and communicate the technical aspects of products and solutions.

  17. Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  18. Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.

  19. Utilize CRM tools and other systems to track progress, analyze data, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  20. Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the minerals industry or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the minerals market, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
