Role Objective:

To lead and manage the end-to-end sales accounting, receivables, pricing control, and commercial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies while driving business profitability and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Accounting & Receivables Management

  • Oversee sales accounting, invoicing, debit/credit note processing, and collection accounting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of sales transactions in ERP (SAP/Oracle/Tally, etc.).
  • Monitor customer receivables, resolve disputes, and ensure on-time collections.
  • Review customer credit limits, coordinate with finance and sales teams for credit approvals.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Review and vet customer purchase orders, pricing agreements, and long-term contracts for commercial terms.
  • Ensure correct application of taxes (GST, TCS, etc.) and statutory compliance in sales transactions.
  • Handle price change management, rebates, discounts, and incentive settlements with OEMs/customers.
  • Maintain commercial documentation and ensure audit readiness.

MIS, Reporting & Controls

  • Prepare and review sales MIS, margin analysis, and profitability reports.
  • Analyze product/customer profitability and support management in pricing decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for commercial audits.
  • Implement internal controls and process improvements across commercial operations.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Plant Commercial, Logistics, and Tax teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash flow.
  • Support management with insights on working capital management and cash flow forecasting.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • CA / CMA qualified with 10–15 years of experience in sales accounting, commercial, and finance operations.
  • Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or engineering industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other indirect tax compliances.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
