JobDescription:

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

1. Inventory TransactionExecution - Controlling, monitoring & execution of inward & outward inventorytransactions over System & Physical - Timely closures of inward shipments (GRN-Goods Receipt Note) over system & physical binning. Daily recording & controllingTAT (Turnaround Time) - Coordination with CFT (Cross Functional Teams) toresolve issues raised during execution of transactions. - Ensuring Workloadmanagement based on variabilities with Inward & outward transactions to ensuretimely closures. At the same time, maintain continuous improvement in fixed andoperational costs. - Ensure 100% implementation of digital initiatives of supplierASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) & QR coding for end-to-end transaction.Coordinating with suppliers, CFT-s and resolving these issues on day-to-day basis -Ensuring FIFO (First In First Out) and PHR (Part Handling Request)implementation

2. Inventory control & accuracy - Completing InventoryManagement to strengthen and accelerate throughput by maintaining a high servicelevel. Conducting periodic inventory checks to ensure inventory accuracy &correction modes. - Timely closures of outward shipments (Production requirements)over system & physical handover

3. Process Efficiency & Cost Control - Ensuringprocess optimization & improvements for Efficiency and Expense Control -Continuously working on improving speed & quality of inventory transactions tomaximize employee productivity & TAT - Benchmarking & introducing suitable goodpractices used in Industry to optimize and improvise the performance & capacity ofoverall systems. - Improvising & Establishing the SOP-s for each and every activitywith identified KPI-s and monitoring systems. - Improvising storage infrastructure toenhance storage capacity through scientific methodology & innovative approach. -Process automation & deployment of digital tools for operational excellence & matrixmanagement

4. Digitalization & Data management - Data recording, monitoring &analyzing to identify hinderances & evaluate right solutions to fill the gaps

5.Organizational Imperatives - Ensuring IMS (Inventory Management System), MIS(Management Information System), Safety & Housekeeping - Implementingcorporate initiatives viz. brighter living, employee engagement, CII (Confederation ofIndian Industry), Business excellence, Kaizen, 5-S etc. - Maintain store MIS & createdigital dash boards and data recoding matrixes. - People development through leverslike skill mapping, Job rotations & Trainings.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

Essential:

Diploma in Mechanical /Production Engineering OR Graduate in any discipline

Preferred:

Diploma in Mechanical /Production Engineering OR Graduate in any discipline

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

4 years of work experience for Diploma in Engineering OR Graduate in anydiscipline.

Preferred:

Similar work experience in material /stores function of industrial product like GodrejMaterial Handling

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
