Dispatch Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Coordination
• Assist in planning and scheduling daily dispatches of finished goods.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics team for dispatch readiness.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading of vehicles with adherence to chemical handling guidelines.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, LR, gate passes, and other dispatch-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with GST, hazardous goods transportation rules, and statutory requirements (as per Motor Vehicle Act and Pollution Control Board norms).
• Maintain dispatch records in Excel/logbooks.
• Inventory & Material Handling
• Assist in maintaining stock records of finished goods in the dispatch area.
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) system while dispatching materials.
• Report discrepancies in quantity/quality to the Dispatch Manager immediately.
• Transport & Vendor Coordination
• Liaise with transporters, courier agencies, and drivers for timely pickup and delivery.
• Monitor vehicle movement, transit schedules, and delivery acknowledgements.
• Handle follow-ups with transporters for proof of delivery (POD).
• Safety & Quality
• Ensure strict compliance with company's safety policies for handling, loading, and dispatching chemicals.
• Verify packaging, labeling, and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) before dispatch.
• Report unsafe practices or incidents to the Safety/Dispatch Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum Graduate / Diploma (preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce).
• 1–3 years of experience in dispatch/logistics preferably in chemical / manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of dispatch documentation (Invoice, E-way bill, LR, Challan, etc.).
• Basic understanding of GST, transport, and chemical handling regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Tally
• Strong coordination, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹22,000.00 per month
