Job Description:

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

  1. Stage Inspection -Monitoring Stage Inspection to detect defects early and prevent quality issues from

  2. Using inspection data to identify recurring issues andinitiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) - Adhering to Assembly & Uprightprocesses.

  3. Conducting periodic audits to verify process adherence and identifydeviations.

  4. Aligning stage inspection activities with overall quality managementsystems and IMS protocols - Training operators and inspectors on stage-wiseinspection criteria and process standards.

  5. DPV reduction at Final Inspection

-Setting stage / Departmental performance criteria for each stage of the productionand inspection process.

  • Achieving set criteria along with Assembly / Upright team.

-Providing guidance, support, and resources to address recurring defects and processdeviations. - Conducting review meetings with Function Heads to assess DPV trends,root causes, and improvement plans.

  • Tracking closure of action items and escalateunresolved issues for higher-level intervention.

  • Digitization at Final Inspection

-Compile inspection data into structured digital formats.

  • Ensuring timely andaccurate presentation of monthly inspection performance in QTF forums.

  • Usedigital tools (e.g., dashboards, spreadsheets, BI platforms) to visualize inspectionmetrics and highlight improvement areas.

  • Kaizen, Safety, IMS & OrganizationalImperatives

  • Actively contribute to individual and workmen kaizen initiatives aimedat improving quality, productivity, and efficiency.

  • Ensuring a safe and hazard-freeworking environment in the Department.

  • Investigating near-misses and incidentsthoroughly and implement preventive measures to maintain the target of zeroaccidents.

  • Ensuring all departmental procedures are aligned with IMS standards

-Update the IMS manual promptly whenever process changes are made, ensuringdocumentation reflects current practices.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of the IMSmanual to maintain relevance, accuracy, and compliance with audit requirements.
