About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Development Manager
to lead our inside sales and business development efforts across the
US and Indian markets
.
This is a senior position for a strategic thinker who excels in lead generation, outbound sales, and team leadership. You'll play a key role in driving growth, building strong client relationships, and shaping AptaHire's market presence on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Sales Development team, ensuring performance excellence and goal achievement.
- Drive
lead generation and qualification
through targeted outreach, cold calling, and email campaigns for the
US and Indian markets
. - Analyze, strategize, and implement effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies
to expand market presence and achieve revenue goals. - Develop and execute
outbound sales strategies
to generate high-quality leads and opportunities. - Conduct discovery calls and coordinate demos with potential clients to effectively communicate AptaHire's value proposition.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, business development, and product teams to align sales initiatives and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems to track lead activity, sales performance, and pipeline health.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor insights to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management review.
- Represent AptaHire at global networking events, conferences, and virtual industry forums.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4–5 years of proven experience
in Inside Sales, Lead Generation, or Business Development, preferably in
B2B SaaS
,
HR Tech
, or
AI-based solutions
. - Demonstrated experience in a
leadership or managerial role
, handling and mentoring a sales development team. - Strong expertise in
cold calling
,
email outreach
, and
pipeline management
for international markets (especially the US). - Proven ability to
analyze markets and strategize GTM plans
, aligning sales efforts with business objectives. - Excellent
interpersonal

presentation
skills with the ability to engage C-level decision-makers. - Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and performance analysis.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
