Job Title: Deputy General Manager - Marketing

Experience: 10-15 years in Sales & Marketing (Preferably 7+ years in Marketing)

Location: Head Office, Mumbai

Reporting to: Head - Marketing

Department: International Marketing

Purpose of the Role

Facilitate product sales strategies by designing, planning, and implementing appropriate marketing plans for respective products. Carry out product marketing initiatives as planned by the organization, thereby supporting the business to achieve its goals. This is an Individual Contributor role focusing on Rest of World (ROW) geography.

Key Responsibilities

Functional

  • Support and drive market-driven brand planning in identified regions to achieve budgeted sales of power brands, strengthen brand performance, and develop KOLs.
  • Develop & execute marketing programs/promotional initiatives within budgeted parameters to drive demand and increase sales of assigned brands.
  • Develop market survey templates and launch strategies in all countries through competitive segmentation, positioning, and targeted brand-building initiatives.
  • Enable and support Sales teams by developing & driving execution of promotional material and brand reminders that support & facilitate the sales process.
  • Gather market intelligence through close monitoring & analysis of brand health and competitive landscape.

Stakeholder Management

  • Understand stakeholder requirements and proactively respond to any expectations.
  • Build trust and respect to enhance quality of relationship and service with stakeholders.

Reporting

  • Lead the generation of relevant and accurate data/reports for efficient Leadership decision-making process.

Team Management

  • Allocate tasks and solve problems that may arise.
  • Create an environment of learning and support team members to realize their individual goals.
  • Build a culture of open communication, engagement, and create an energized workplace.

Special Initiatives

  • Champion the involvement from the PMT team to create impact and improve efficiency of strategic initiatives towards organizational transformation.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Post-graduate in General or Pharmaceutical Management.
  • Graduate in any Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Key Stakeholder Relationships

External: Distributors, KOLs, KBLs, HCPs, Pharmacists.

Internal: Sales team, Supply Chain department, Research & Development department, Medical Affairs department.
