Role: Guest Service Provider (Cinemas)A Guest Service Provider (sometimes called Customer Service Associate, Crew Member, or Front-of-House Staff) ensures that guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable cinema experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer ServiceWelcome and greet guests warmly at entry points.

  • Provide information about movie timings, promotions, seating, and facilities.
  • Assist guests with ticket purchases (box office or self-service kiosks).
  • Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure guests with special needs (e.g., accessibility) are supported.
  • 2. Ticketing & Cash HandlingSell and check tickets efficiently and accurately.
  • Operate POS systems for ticket and concession sales.
  • Manage cash and card transactions, balancing tills as required.
  • 3. Concessions & Food ServicePrepare and serve food, snacks, and beverages at concession counters.
  • Upsell combos and promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
  • 4. Auditorium DutiesCheck tickets and guide guests to their screens/seats.
  • Monitor the auditorium for guest comfort, disturbances, or safety concerns.
  • Perform auditorium cleaning between shows (seats, aisles, and waste removal).
  • Ensure sound and projection quality meet standards (report issues to technical team).
  • 5. Safety & ComplianceAdhere to health, safety, and fire regulations.
  • Assist in emergency procedures (e.g., evacuations).
  • Ensure age-restricted movies are enforced (ID checks).
  • 6. General OperationsMaintain cleanliness in lobbies, restrooms, and public areas.
  • Support promotional events, premieres, or private screenings.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
  • Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.
